About these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or book a table, a private room or an event at Sorrel, 11 Bridge Street, Marlborough, Wiltshire SN8 1AA. By making a booking you agree to them.
Table bookings
A request made through this website is not confirmed until we reply to confirm it. Tables are held for fifteen minutes after the booked time; after that we may give the table to someone else. Please tell us as soon as you can if your numbers change.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. For groups of seven or more, and for the Long Table, we may ask for a card to secure the booking and charge a cancellation fee, which we will tell you about when you book.
Private dining and events
Private rooms carry a minimum spend, shown on each room’s page. Events are paid for in advance when you book. Event tickets can be moved to another guest but are not refundable unless we cancel the event, in which case we refund you in full.
Menus, allergies and prices
Our menu changes with the season, so dishes shown on the website may not be available on the day. Please tell us about any allergy or dietary need when you book and again when you arrive. We handle all fourteen major allergens in one kitchen and cannot guarantee that any dish is free from traces. Prices include VAT. A discretionary service charge of 12.5% is added to the bill.
Using this website
We try to keep the information on this website accurate but cannot promise it is always complete or up to date. The words, photographs and design belong to Sorrel and may not be copied without permission.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that were not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms.
Changes and law
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page applies to bookings made while it is shown. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
